• Read job orders, technical manuals, and standards to determine malfunctions and plan repairs.
• Perform complete inspections, routine diagnostics, and post-repair assessments.
• Maintain equipment service records and perform routine servicing and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair air brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines.
• Repair or replace vehicle components such as lights, belts, and air valves.
• Conduct test drives to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Follow company safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Document work hours, parts used, and tasks completed.

• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Obtain a TWIC card.
• Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
