Summary:

The Behavior Technician assumes the primary caretaker role for patients in Cook Children's Child Study Center ABA programs (Behavior Disorders Clinic and Autism Services) which includes delivering therapy protocols, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Behavior Technician also participates in data collection, training, and team collaboration.

Hours/Location: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

Child Study Center, 1300 W. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth, TX

Education/Experience:

  • High school Diploma.

  • Experience in ABA therapy settings or special education settings is strongly preferred.

  • Pediatric experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Heartsaver CPR and CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date.

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is required within 90 days of start date (training and fees provided by the department).
