Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX & Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in design, development, and implementation of architectural deliverables, to include components of the assessment and optimization of system design and review of user requirements
- Support for applications based on a Windows framework
- Contribute to the determination of technical and operational feasibility of solutions
- Develop prototypes of the system design and works with database, operations, technical support, and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation processes
- May lead multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provide tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor
- Work with 1-2 agile teams to work through application design, product implementation, technical/functional requirements, and the Agile SDLC.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
Requirements:
- Prior financial services industry experience
- 7 years of proven detail oriented, Systems Analysis expertise in an agile environment
- Expertise in work through full-stack application delivery
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to document processes and platform architecture into sustainable documents
- Strong use of visuals skills, ability to convene points with graphics and illustrations
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in a SAFe Agile organization
