Salary Range: $ 125,161 - $131,362 USD per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
Develop and optimize software feature functionality to meet design specifications. Review technical specifications and requirements for optical management system features. Translate technical specifications into viable software feature designs. Conduct peer review of detailed features designs. Implement software features following agile/scrum methodology. Track and report progress and issues. Conduct unit test of features to validate detailed operation of all capabilities, to correct bugs, and to code review all delivered feature content. Correct software issues found by independent third-party testers. Communicate with testers and review test design strategy and test cases. Collaborate with other internal organizations for end-to-end testing of complex network configurations. Resolve software issues found during network testing. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have at least 1 year of experience with the following: Implementation of data management and retrieval; Agile methodologies for software development; and Creating application feature designs and screen layouts based on requirements.
Of the required experience, must have at least 3 years of experience with the following: Programming in object-oriented design and development using Java or Python; Working with MVCs Spring or Django; Writing REST APIs for handling data; Writing unit tests for features and verifying test strategies.
Telecommuting may be permitted up to 40%.
