The Saw Operator cuts necessary materials to exact lengths needed to complete door assembly. Employees in Saw positions are responsible for their primary position, but are cross-trained in other Assembly positions to provide assistance when needed.

Duties Include:

• Confirm correct color and finish of raw materials prior to cutting materials.
• Using table saw, cut aluminum extrusion material to accurate length within tolerance.
• Perform visual inspection of all material processed for obvious visual defects
• Complete production and data collection documents.
• Assist other areas when needed.
• Perform 5S duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Able to read and understand work instructions and work orders
• Able to work flexible hours to meet customer demands when required
• Able to work at a fast pace to ensure production goals are met
• Able to read a tape measure accurately

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency with computer data entry
• Able to stand for minimum of 8 hours
• Able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
• Able to repetitively bend, lift, and twist
