What success looks like in this role:

This role is only to be used for individuals who are in a consultant/advisory function. _x000D_ _x000D_ This role is subject to Unisys billing rates, productivity, utilization and total chargeability metrics. Only billable/direct client chargeable employees are to be placed in this role. Sells and manages small to medium scale profitable consulting projects for service line/region/verticals. Provides and implements information technology (IT) systems strategy, development and/or integration services to external clients. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Performs in both a people management capacity and a technical leadership capacity. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. In some instances, may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees. Viewed by clients as a consultant. Performance is typically evaluated based on the capture of the consulting engagement and/or utilization, (i.e., billable hours) or performance against budget. This position should be used for individuals who are actively and regularly meeting with and presenting to clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Leads assessments comparing the as-is environment of a business function to industry best practices to identify and prioritize gaps and then formulate a roadmap to address those gaps.
* Defines business requirements and leads the evaluation of the functionality, costs and benefits of potential business solutions.to meet those requirements.
* Designs end-to-end business solutions and business cases to justify the implementation of those solutions for small and medium projects.
* Develops and implements business solutions that meet a client's business strategy and requirements, thereby improving a client's business processes and functions.
* Builds project plans and leads 3-7 consultants in the delivery of small and medium projects of low and medium complexity with responsibility for staffing, delivery methods, quality and project profitability. May also manage one of more work streams in larger projects.
* Determines how best to use resources to meet project schedules and objectives.
* Manages and maintains track of overall project progress and provides updates to project stakeholders.
* Identifies additional Unisys products and services that may benefit the client's organization.
* Participates in business development, proposal development, client presentations, marketing and thought leadership, which includes developing responses to RFI's and RFP's, as well as, creating and delivering client oral presentations to support those responses.
* Typically becomes a Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a particular Service Line/Region/Vertical.

* 8+ years of consulting experience plus Bachelor's Degree OR 6+ years consulting experience and a Master's degree OR equivalent work experience. Knowledge of two or more business functions required.
